When did you become a committee member?
I am a newbie, I joined Reading Pride in December 2009.
What other volunteering work have you done?
I have helped out with a few small things for my various employers to help those in the local community, however nothing as massive as Reading Pride. I look forward to the
challenge.
When/Where did you hear about Reading Pride?
I was hijacked and taken to Pride for the first time in 2009 (I wanted to go really...), and it just inspired be to get
involved!
What do you do for Reading Pride now?
To be honest... the only thing I have done is contributed in the form of turning up to Pride... but I am determined to change that.
How has volunteering for Reading Pride benefited your personal/professional development?
It has made me beleive that any piece of help you can offer can really make a difference to other
people.
Would you recommend volunteering for Reading Pride?
Definately, anything you can do will help us to make Reading Pride even better.
What is your best Reading Pride moment?
Well... I would have to say... just going for the first time this year... was so exciting and I had such a good day just being myself. A must for anyone who has yet to come!
