Traveling to Reading
By Road
From M4 Motorway and adjoining A Roads. We recommend using the Junction 11 of the M4 to come in from as this is the most direct route. Follow this road (A33) all the way down keeping to the right as much as possible. You will pass the Football Stadium, B&Q and McDonalds on the left, You will see a Texaco garage at a junction make sure you are going straight on, go under a bridge with houses on the right, keep to the right hand lane to go straight over this junction. Keep going until you go under another railway bridge and pass the Fire Station, Dawsons and the Post Office. Turn right at the next roundabout with TGI's on the corner, go to the next roundabout and you can park your car by turning left and going over the bridge, on the right is a Car Park. (This Car Park is a Pay and Display) Please park there and walk back over the bridge and turn left at the roundabout and the Park is opposite the BMW Showroom. Disabled drivers can park within the Festival grounds, please display your disabled badge.
By Rail
There is an excellent rail service to Reading and direct rail links from Penzance – via Exeter and Plymouth; Bristol – via Swindon and Bath; Swansea – via Cardiff; Hereford – via the Cotswold line and Worcester; Birmingham and the North – via Oxford and Coventry; Poole and Weymouth – via Winchester and Southampton; Gatwick Airport; and London Waterloo for Eurostar services from Paris, Brusels and Disneyland, Paris. When you walk out of the station, turn left towards the roundabout then walk to then next main roundabout and turn left again. Go under the railway bridge to the next roundabout, cross over the road towards the BMW Showroom and follow the road down, Reading Pride will be across from the BMW Showroom.
Disabled Access
Upon coming in to Reading and picking up the road signs to the festival please follow the directions to Kings Meadow Park marked Exhibitors / Disabled Access. You will be able to park your vehicle right outsid the Disabled entrance. If anyone requires assistance on the day please look out for committee members who will be wearing pink hi-vis bibs who will be able to help. Alternatively you can speak to any security person who will radio through the request and a committee member should be available. Please note that we are not able to provide personal one-to-one assistance on the day.
