Giving up just a small amount of time could make a huge difference.

Volunteer

Reading Pride is run entirely by volunteers and cannot happen without the commitment made by a group of dedicated individuals. Planning takes place throughout the year however the final lead up to the event and Pride day itself (Saturday 5th September) needs a bank of volunteers to help make things happen.

We need volunteers in the days before to help set up the site then on the day to steward the parade, fundraise, sell raffle tickets, general site maintenance, back stage assistance, manning the info points and much more.

Giving up just a small amount of time could make a huge difference.

Volunteering with Reading Pride can be very worthwhile and can give you a sense of giving back to your community. It is also a great time to meet new people. You can also get your friends involved and volunteer as a group.

No previous experience is necessary as we will be holding a volunteer briefing session on Wednesday 26th August at The Malthouse in Reading, from 7pm and also full training will be given on the day.
