Reading Pride 2019
Reading Pride's annual Parade & Festival returns back for its sixteenth year on Saturday 31st August 2019 at King's Meadow. The Festival kicks off when the Parade arrives at 12pm with a full line-up of entertainment throughout the day along with a funfair, youth area, a wide range of food, drink and market stalls.
Please note: For everyone's safety all bags will be checked by security on entry. As part of our licence with the council no alcohol can be brought onto site and any soft drinks must be unopened and in their original packaging.
Join the Love Unites Parade
The Love Unites Parade brings the spirit of Pride to the centre of Reading and provides an opportunity for groups, organisations and individuals to show their support for both Pride and the ongoing campaign for equality.
Dana International headlines the #LoveUnites Main Stage. Offering a non-stop line-up of live entertainment throughout the day with a host of performers offering something for everyone.
PridePlus is back! Enjoy an unrivaled view of the Main Stage, as well as its own private bar and exclusive private cabin toilets. Space is limited bookable on a first come, first served basis.
Pride aLive Stage
Reading Pride is very proud to welcome back the Pride aLive stage. Featuring fantastic local artists and bands who are either friends, allies and supporters of, or who identify themselves as LGBT+.
We have worked incredibly hard this year to provide exciting provision for children of all ages in our family area. There will be many opportunities for; arts and crafts, dancing, party games, socialising and story telling.
Travel & Accommodation
However you plan to attend Pride, it's always best to arrive in style! There are numerous ways to travel to Reading Pride given our location we're just a short distance from Reading town centre.
We will be providing accessible facilities to which stewards, volunteers and security staff will be able to show you where these are, and escort you through crowds if required. A British Sign Language interpreter will be present on our Main Stage.
