Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is incredibly proud to be participating in Reading Pride. They will be promoting their services to the community and hope to reach people who may not ordinarily seek help. Together with colleagues from Royal Berkshire Hospital, they will be creating a pop-up health space called 'PrideInU', showcasing health and wellbeing services. A programme of mini events, workshops and sessions will run throughout the day.
As well as providing healthcare and wellbeing support, they will be sharing the great job opportunities that they have available. Berkshire Healthcare is committed to being a great place to work for everyone, where everyone is treated with respect and can be their true self at work. This commitment extends to how they treat their patients, families, friends and carers. They believe that all patients should be treated fairly, and with compassion and dignity.
As part of their support for the LGBT+ community, they encourage as many of their staff as possible to attend Reading Pride, and celebrate inclusivity. This free, fun, family-friendly event, gives them the chance to stand proud with LBGT+ staff and patients, celebrating diversity and the rich tapestry of experience that makes our community so vibrant.
